- Lab of Madness It’s a Wild! electrifies slot play
18 September 2025 – Play’n GO throws the switch on Lab of Madness It’s a Wild!, a gothic comic-inspired slot that surges with strange science and surprise. Players join the unconventional Dr Frankenstein as she attempts to jolt her patchwork Monster to life in a lab where every pull of the lever sparks new possibilities. Inside her shadowy castle laboratory, the eccentric doctor – equal parts brilliant and bizarre – is moments away from success. Lightning dances across Tesla coils, strange bulbs flicker with colour, and each spin builds towards a shocking breakthrough. At the centre of the chaos is the Monster Wild. It’s not just a symbol – it’s a scene-stealer, shifting positions, stretching across reels, and multiplying wins with raw energy. These Wilds can even combine their powers, filling the screen with movement and mayhem. Add to that a Power Up feature that delivers sudden prizes, and a Free Spins mode where stacked effects can keep the game alive with electricity – and the result is a slot packed with spark. The visual style draws inspiration from retro horror comics, fusing dramatic shadows and hand-drawn details with neon bursts. The monochrome lab, oversized coils, and lively symbols create a world that’s both eerie and entertaining. Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO, said: “Lab of Madness It’s a Wild! gave us a chance to mix sharp design with surprising features. It’s got humour, heart, and just enough madness to keep players coming back for more.” Between quirky characters, energetic gameplay, and a fresh twist on a classic tale, this is one experiment you’ll want to see through to the end.
- Play’n GO introduces innovative new mechanic in Rosy Orbit Treasure Turn™
11 September 2025 – Play’n GO heads skyward with Rosy Orbit Treasure Turn™, a radiant slot where gravity is optional and innovation is key. A mysterious princess, a faithful fox, and a cherished rose – Play’n GO blends character-driven charm and fresh mechanics in Rosy Orbit Treasure Turn™. Set on a tiny, enchanted planet spinning through the cosmos, this 5x5 cascading slot introduces a whimsical new character through narrative-led gameplay. While the storyline gently evokes fables of solitude and curiosity, it’s the inventive Treasure Turn™ mechanic that keeps the reels in motion. The signature Treasure Turn™ feature rotates the entire reel 90 degrees counter-clockwise after a win, sliding symbols into new positions before cascading continues. This unusual twist opens unexpected opportunities with each move, especially when large 2x2 symbols drop in. These oversized icons don’t just take up space – they crush smaller symbols beneath them to build multipliers, combining narrative weight with mechanical purpose. Occasional meteor and starfalls bring Wilds and destruction to the reels, offering controlled chaos that suits the game’s dreamlike setting. Fans of Play’n GO’s more character-led stories – like the Moon Princess or Tales of Asgard series – will find a similar tone here. Yet Rosy Orbit Treasure Turn™ is its own creation, with its gentle pace and cosmic visuals complementing the more strategic gameplay of its cascading feature. Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play'n GO, said: “We’re always exploring new ways to enhance gameplay, and the Treasure Turn™ mechanic lets players engage with the slot world in a more dynamic, spatial way. It’s an entirely fresh spin – quite literally!” Play’n GO has delivered a poetic yet potent game where movement, story, and design orbit one another seamlessly.

4 September 2025 – Play’n GO deepens its mythological portfolio with Rise of Olympus Extreme, a supercharged follow-up to one of its most enduring grid slot titles. Following the popularity of the original Rise of Olympus, this new release expands the celestial stakes with enhanced mechanics and visual polish. Returning players will reunite with the mighty trio – Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus – who now command more formidable powers in a refined 5x5 cascading grid. With a maximum potential win of 15,000x the player’s bet and high-energy gameplay, Rise of Olympus Extreme harnesses divine wrath and reward in equal measure. The game’s signature Hand of God feature returns with added punch, activating random modifiers depending on the ruling deity. Players can witness symbol transformations, wilds added to the grid, or entire sets removed – building tension between spins. A dynamic multiplier now escalates with every cascade, and fully clearing the grid unlocks an instant payout worth 20x the total bet – multiplied again by the active multiplier. The Wrath of Olympus feature remains a core mechanic, now supercharged to deliver a powerful trio of effects in sequence, followed by player-chosen Free Spins with up to x1000 multipliers. Every mechanic underlines Play’n GO’s commitment to rich gameplay layered with choice and spectacle. This release builds directly on the legacy of the original Rise of Olympus – one of Play’n GO’s most celebrated grid titles – and sits alongside Gates of Troy and Divine Showdown in its mythological canon. Players drawn to grid-style games with narrative depth and escalating rewards will find Rise of Olympus Extreme both familiar and fresh. Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO , said: “Rise of Olympus has always been a fan favourite, and with Extreme, we’ve turned the dial on every aspect – bigger multipliers, deeper features, and more strategic choice. It’s a game worthy of the gods.” Mythology meets momentum – Rise of Olympus Extreme delivers a thunderbolt of innovation for grid slot fans.

Designed for those who enjoy impactful decisions and visually engaging play, this sequel introduces the Inferno Spins mechanic – a final burst of action where locked Toads on glowing Golden Lilypads can split for a dramatic finale. The Toad Upgrade feature, triggered by landing two Scatters in the base game, reinforces the theme of evolution, powering up symbols mid-spin for greater potential. Fire Toad 2 also features a choice of two Free Spins modes: players can either build momentum through a longer upgrade trail or begin at peak transformation with fewer spins and only the most rewarding Toads in play. In either mode, reel three is always lit with active Golden Lilypads, enhancing symbol combinations. - Play'n GO's Rune Skarphagen on why trust is the industry’s real currency
1 September 2025 Building trust and guaranteeing the highest levels of security is now table stakes if you want to have a regulated market presence, says Rune Ören Skarphagen, Head of Security & Privacy at Play’n GO. For iGaming businesses up and down the value chain, trust is perhaps the most important strategic asset. Without it, everything else very quickly falls apart. As the Head of Security at Play’n GO, the world’s leading supplier of casino entertainment products to regulated markets, it’s my job to maintain and strengthen this trust with both our partners and the end users. We understand the significance of trust better than most. Gambling is an industry built upon rapid data flows. It’s also one where users value privacy and security extremely highly. That’s a challenging backdrop against which we must also build trust and deliver large volumes of content to hundreds of partners across dozens of regulated markets. Of course, Play’n GO has never taken the easy route. When we talk about our commitment to building a sustainable future for iGaming, security is an essential part of this. Security and licensing We’re active in more than 35 regulated jurisdictions around the world, and we’ve spotted an increasing trend among them. Security, in many different forms, is now an explicit expectation of the licensing framework in a growing number of markets. This makes absolute sense. A licence is only as strong as the security provisions underpinning it, and if regulators cannot be sure that players’ data is protected and systems are robust, then the rest of the conversation soon becomes irrelevant. Europe’s GDPR has clearly been a catalyst, not just within the bloc, but in fact across much of the world. Regulators in Europe, North America, South America and beyond now demand demonstrable compliance with data protection rules, breach notification protocols and secure hosting standards. Many require the appointment of dedicated data protection officers. These are no longer optional, or sales talking points, but rather prerequisite for market access. No operator, supplier nor B2B partner can expect to build a lasting footprint in regulated gambling without being able to show, transparently and consistently, that their security framework not only meets but exceeds these obligations. Smart business, not box ticking So, how do we go about meeting these standards? The first step is internal policies, including protocols that must be put into place. But this is as much about fostering a culture as it is meeting specific requirements. As we’ve seen in regulated jurisdictions around the world – with the UK, Sweden and the Netherlands being just three recent examples – there’s a clear shift both in the rules we must operate under and the public sentiment towards our industry. This is why we’ve always felt box ticking can only take you so far. Instead, we’re cultivating a mentality that puts security, data protection and sustainability at the heart of everything. We call it Trust by Design, and it extends well beyond our security measures and technology. It involves thinking about trust at every stage of the process, from the beginnings of game design, through development, marketing and roll-out to operator partners. It’s also a question of demonstrating that our understanding of trust goes beyond keeping a player’s data safe. A big part of why Play’n GO has become such a trusted name in our sector is because we’re not afraid to take action on key issues we think are important. Our decision to never build so-called Bonus Buy mechanics into our games is one example. We’ve conducted extensive research that shows both the public and slot players believe Bonus Buys to be an exploitative and unsustainable feature. Can they be extremely profitable? Of course. But we’re aiming at something bigger and longer-term than a GGR boost for the next quarter, as we’ve consistently shown over the last 20 years. Our recent decision not to supply our games to sweepstakes casinos in the US is another example. We firmly believe that these casinos are threatening the fantastic work we’ve seen across the country by regulators to introduce frameworks that provide for security, data and player protection. And we don’t want to play any role in that. At Play’n GO, everything we do is built with data protection and security at its core. We see Trust by Design not only as a framework but as a philosophy. It’s why players choose our 400+ games, why operators rely on us as a partner and why regulators know we take our responsibilities very seriously To find out more about Play’n GO, please visit www.playngo.com This article originally ran on 5Star iGaming Media, To read it there, click here .

- Shawn Fluharty: 'Play’n GO prioritises long-term sustainability and player welfare over short-term revenue.'
15 August 2025 Mind Matters: Putting Brain Health at the Heart of Global Gaming Policy In June, Play’n GO’s Head of Government Affairs, Shawn Fluharty , a West Virginia state legislator who led the fight within the state to legalise iGaming, joined the G7 Forum on Responsible Gaming and Gambling Policy, the first of three summit-level gatherings that continue at the G20 and United Nations later this year. As the only online supplier invited to these summits, Play’n GO brings frontline experience in safeguarding players to a debate traditionally driven by public-health and academic voices. In this Q&A, Fluharty examines why understanding gambling’s impact on brain health is essential to crafting effective regulations, and how industry participation ensures that policymakers adopt the right prevention tools, intervention strategies and research-backed safeguards for a truly responsible, sustainable gaming future. Why is it important to bring the conversation about gambling’s impact on brain health into high-level forums like the G7, G20 and UN? This marks the first time that the gambling industry has come together with experts who truly understand brain health. Recognising gambling as part of the global economy and treating the regulated sector on par with other industries allows to partner with neuroscientists and public-health specialists on policies that minimise negative impacts. By working together, we can design the smartest, safest frameworks from the outset rather than react after harm occurs. Is the industry considering brain health enough today? Gambling is already one of the most heavily regulated industries, and operators recognise that protecting players is essential to keeping them engaged. Yet, too few companies have reached out to brain-health experts or established truly independent oversight. It’s not enough to rely solely on in-house compliance teams; neutral consultants and academic researchers must be brought in to review real-world data, pinpoint early warning signs and refine safeguards. That external perspective is exactly what the industry needs next. Which research findings or neuroscientific insights should regulators prioritise when drafting new responsible-gaming rules? We’re still assembling a dedicated committee of 12–14 experts, academics, clinicians and data scientists to explore precisely that question. Once funding and research teams are in place, they will produce evidence-based recommendations. Until then, it’s premature to single out specific findings, but our goal is clear: let the data guide the regulatory standards rooted in brain-health science. How does Play’n GO’s frontline perspective on player behaviour inform its product design? Play’n GO prioritises long-term sustainability and player welfare over short-term revenue. By voluntarily excluding predatory features such as direct bonus buys, even though it means leaving money on the table, we ensure our games remain entertaining without exploiting vulnerabilities. This consumer-first mandate, championed by our CEO, Johan Tornqvist, shows that responsible design and business success can go hand in hand. From here, what are the next steps for ensuring that brain-health considerations remain central as global gaming regulation evolves? With regulated gaming now at these tables, the next step is a formal global policy initiative that embeds brain-health criteria into every stage of legislation. Rather than waiting for crises to strike, we will keep experts engaged from day one, mapping out how to prevent harm before it happens and ensuring those preventive measures become a standard part of future regulations.
