  • GO Bananas for Play’n GO’s Latest Slot!

The latest title from Play’n GO has been revealed today, with the release of Banana Rock. The game centres round fictional rock band Banana Rock, a group of musical monkeys, led by their frontman Simeon Chimpsky, coming together for one last musical performance. If they reach that magical final encore players are guaranteed a win. The game makes use of the Play’n GO trademark Win Spin™ feature, an interesting concept introduced by Play’n GO whereby the player is guaranteed a win at the end of their spin. It is a feature that has been used to great effect previously on games such as Royal Masquerade and Pimped. The game has an interesting theme but CEO Johan Törnqvist believes it is not enough for the game to be “interesting”, and that it must have more going on below the surface: “Banana Rock is a very creative concept for a slot and it’s drawing people in, but you don’t keep players entertained with good looks alone. The visuals are backed by dynamic gameplay including the Re-Spin and Free Spin features, these are what keep the players enjoying the game. The Win Spin feature is particularly engaging and we are very proud of it. It gives players that little something extra and, at the end of the day, we want to entertain players.”

  • Play’n GO shoot for the top with Gunslinger: Reloaded

25th October, 2018 - Leading supplier Play’n GO have today released their latest slot title Gunslinger: Reloaded; a fun adventure based on the legend and lore of the Golden Age of the Wild Wild West. The 5-Reel slot is based around the mysterious Gunslinger, a nomadic cowboy who roams the Wild West, chasing lawbreakers and collecting bounties on some of the world’s most wanted criminals. The award-winning supplier has also included three great bonus features to make gameplay more exciting; offering lots of fun and great chances for players to win. You can test the Gunslinger’s shooting skills by shooting playing cards to win the jackpot or shoot empty bottles to release the free spins. The most inventive feature is the ‘Bounty Hunt’, where players chase one of the game’s main villains through the streets of the town, before finally facing them in an old-fashioned shootout! Setting the game against such a well-known and much beloved backdrop meant particular detail had to be paid to the game’s design and its features, according to Play’n GO CEO Johan Törnqvist: “The Western genre is extremely popular and well-known all over the world so, when designing a game like this, you have to be very faithful to the conventions of the genre. Our producers made sure that the game captures the look and the feel of the Golden Age of Westerns, in both the main game and all of the added features, containing some of the most popular elements, to give players an immersive experience.”

  • Play’n GO Get Double SBC Nomination!

Casino supplier Play’n GO have been nominated in two categories at the upcoming 2018 SBC Awards. The nominations are for Game Developer of the Year and Best Gaming Innovation awards. These are the first nominations for Play’n GO at the SBC Awards and are the latest in a slew of nominations for the provider this year. The Best Gaming Innovation nomination comes for their musically themed slot House of Doom , released earlier this year, in collaboration with Swedish Metal band Candlemass , and took the novel approach of using music specifically crafted to be part of the game rather than taking the standard IP approach. The awards themselves, in their fifth year, are described as “rewarding and celebrating the very best in Sports Betting” and will be taking place on the evening of December 4th at The Artillery Garden at the HAC in London. CEO Johan Törnqvist acknowledged these latest nominations are part of a trend for the company this year: “This year, more than ever before, we have been nominated multiple times for the innovation and development of our games. We have grown and progressed as a company and this recognition serves to tell us that our progress is both positive and effective. I’ve always stressed that we aren’t in this business for the awards but, once again, we are appreciative of the acknowledgment”

  • Play’n GO Push the Envelope with Iron Girl

4th October, 2018 - Award-winning supplier Play’n GO today revealed their latest gaming title Iron Girl; a space age slot based on the adventures of the titular character. The game is a 5-reel slot that follows the adventures of Iron Girl, an intergalactic bounty hunter chasing down wanted criminals across the galaxy with the help of her Iron Armor. This slot also marks a first for Play’n GO, as they are making use of 3D graphics to animate the Iron Armor feature in their game a format that they have not previously used but has become increasingly popular in online casino gaming over the last year. Play’n GO CEO Johan Törnqvist spoke about the use of 3D and the decision to finally bring it into play for this game: “3D graphics are getting very popular in slot gaming, but we didn’t want to rush right into using them just because the option was there, we wanted to make sure we had the right game and that it would look perfect! When designing Iron Girl, we decided we needed something visually to make the game stand out and do justice to the concept and the entertaining nature of the game, so the time was right for 3D. It is a very engaging game, and the visuals add even more to the player experience, which is very important for us.” If the game plays as well as it looks, then Play’n GO may just have another smash hit on their hands.
