- It’s Time For Something a Little Different…
We like to look at things from a different angle, we’ve built our business on it. From seeing the potential of mobile gaming before anyone else to pioneering game formats like the cascading grid slots, we’ve built a reputation for seeing (and doing) things a little bit differently. We’re seeing things a little differently with our latest game too. Wild Rails is a 5-reel video slot where players have to try and match symbols across the grid’s 30 fixed paylines. The game also has a special feature Ticket to Free Spins which gives the opportunity for unlimited free spins! But that’s not the best bit. We literally decided to look at this game from a different angle by turning it 90˚ and making the reels horizontal. Why? Well, first of all, it makes the game more natural. Each reel is a train, carrying the symbols as carriages and it makes more sense for the trains to go across the screen, rather than up and down. Secondly, the game has a Wild Trains feature where a Wild Train will take over the reel, and up to five Wilds with it, those Wilds will already be sitting across a payline, and one train could fill a whole payline, you don’t get that with vertical reels! Wild Rails will be released on July 11th, and we’ll have some of our experienced Sales and Affiliate teams at iGB from July 16th to 19th, if you see them why not say hi and find out more about this great game, and how we’re doing things differently, to get better results. So on July 11th get onboard the Wild Rails, and we’ll show you why seeing things from a different angle can be so much fun!
- Play’n GO Release Game of Gladiators into the Gaming Arena!
The latest title from leading casino supplier Play’n GO was released today, the slot Game of Gladiators. The five-reel video slot allows players to battle their way to riches and glory, with several exciting features to add to the gameplay experience. Carefully crafted graphics and well-rendered art design make this game a visual spectacle, but the slot’s crowning element is it’s Enter the Arena bonus feature. Enter the Arena allows players to choose a champion of their choosing, either the male champion Spartacus or the female champion Amazonia and use the character to battle the gladiators on the reels, granting free spins until the battle is won or lost. Along with several Primus features during standard gameplay, Game of Gladiators offers a wealth of excitement and anticipation through the use of its features, which is heightened by the game’s strong narrative, a characteristic that is becoming a brand trait when it comes to Play’n GO releases. Game of Gladiators marks the thirteenth game release from Play’n GO this year, an impressive output that has already yielded several commercially successful titles including Phoenix Reborn , Contact and Sabaton . The slot specialists are showing no signs of slowing and CEO Johan Törnqvist says they still have a lot more to offer: “Game of Gladiators adds an exciting new option to the market, and we look forward to having players of the game enjoy battling it out in the Enter the Arena feature! We’ve released many games for 2019, and there’s plenty more to come from us, but that doesn’t mean a sacrifice on quality. Each game is unique and carefully crafted to give players the most entertainment possible. If you look at what we have done so far, you will find a wide variety in choice and concepts, but all with that Play’n GO energy.” Game of Gladiators is available to play online now.

- Play’n GO Brighten the Market with new Slot Inferno Star
Play’n GO have released their latest title into the market, a simple yet engaging slot entitled Inferno Star. Following on from the successful launches of Mahjong 88 and their most recent release, Sabaton, Play’n GO have once again decided to switch up the formula by releasing a simpler game, adding to the versatility of their existing portfolio. Inferno Star is an easy to play 5x3 video slot made more engaging with its innovative re-spin feature and the decision to make the game payout with a minimum of only two matching symbols, as opposed to the usual three. The simplicity of the game is also augmented by the potential of the game. Johan Törnqvist, CEO of Play’n GO discussed the importance of versatility and quality in a casino offering: “Modern players know what they want and, in the current market, it’s important to provide them with that or else they’ll look elsewhere for their entertainment. However, more importantly, they know what makes a good game. So, part of our challenge is to make sure there’s something for them to enjoy in every game as well as catering to different tastes. So even though we have such a diverse range of games in our portfolio, they all feature that Play’n GO quality that players enjoy.” The game also sees the return of Play’n GO’s classic ‘Gamble’ feature where, after winning a prize, players have the chance to double or quadruple their winnings by correctly guessing the colour or the suit of a random playing card. Inferno Star is available to play now.

- Play’n GO Reinvent a Classic with Mahjong 88
Play’n GO have announced another first with the release of their first 8x8 grid slot Mahjong 88! Based on the popular 19th-century tile game, Mahjong 88 mixes a classic pastime with the modern entertainment of slot gaming. The slot is packed full of interesting features and designs to add to the immersive element of the game, starting with their authentic aesthetic for the grid. Play’n GO attention to detail in their cultural representations have become something of a hallmark with games such as Viking Runecraft , Legacy of Egypt and, most recently, their 3D slot Contact all focusing highly on the accuracy of the game’s look. They’ve also demonstrated this in their unique grid design for this game. Rather than spinning reel, the symbols appear on Mah-jong tiles and, when any tiles disappear from the “board” new tiles appear from underneath. The features include Seasonal Wilds, which are linked to a player’s run. As the game is played players will progress through the four seasons, and each Wild performs a different task dependant on the season they are experiencing, along with a special Season Bonus as the seasonal change occurs. The game also has the added attraction of appealing to casual and seasoned slot players with both short- and long-term rewards for players, meaning it will cater to a large slot audience. CEO Johan Törnqvist was effusive when speaking about the game: “We’re very proud of what we have created here with Mahjong 88. Not only is it our very first 8x8 grid slot, but we carefully curated the design to add a rich authenticity to the Mah-jong based theme. It’s no secret that we’re going to be putting out a high number of games this year, and this is just one example of the high quality and innovation that every single title will carry.”
