The latest slot from Play’n GO has been released today, under the title Golden Colts. A Western-themed slot with a twist, the game uses popular elements of the genre along with mild horror influences to bring a slightly different take to the usual cowboy slot content.

The game centres around the undead sheriff and his quest to protect his town from the nefarious Ace-High Gang, using the infamous Golden Colts that the game is named for. The colts themselves are used to load up and fire one of the seven exciting bonus features onto the reels when activated, and players can look forward to the suspense of finding out which feature they have activated each time.

The game was previously a bespoke title for online casino Mr Green and is now on general release as part of Play’n Go’s extensive portfolio. Play’n GO CEO Johan Törnqvist spoke about the importance of giving players a choice:
